Tuberous breasts are a very common pathology. Her intervention by means of Lipoffiling (fat contribution of the patient herself) is a common practice that Dr. Gutiérrez performs both in the Pediatric Plastic Surgery Unit of La Fe Hospital in Valencia and in private patients. The symposium, which has been held consecutively for 44 years, brought together nearly 40 plastic surgeons from 14 countries, mainly from Europe, as well as colleagues from Israel and the United States.
Dr. Patricia Gutiérrez attended this scientific conference for the first time. In her own words: “this format is completely new for me and the truth is that I have loved it because it encourages collaboration with fellow plastic surgeons and requires us all to be very humble when presenting our cases and generous”. Regarding the level of the content and the speakers, he commented that it could not have been of a higher level and “it has given me the opportunity to exchange knowledge with some of the best professionals in plastic surgery within an extraordinary atmosphere of fellowship and camaraderie”. He also pointed out that “we have had time to get to know the person behind the professional, which helps to forge personal bonds that will bear fruit in very interesting collaborations in the coming months”.

Asked about her next conference, Dr. Gutiérrez stated that “it will be in a few weeks, in Israel, as part of the ISAPS(International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons)” of which she is Assistant National Secretary for Spain.
