Nanofat, also known as nanograft, is a type of fat graft rich instem cellsand stromal vascular fraction cells.
What is Nanofat used for?
Nanofat is used for skin rejuvenation of the face, décolleté, dark circles and hands.
The plastic surgeon injects stem cells along with the stromal portion of the fat, which include growth factors.
With only 20-30 cc of fat we can rejuvenate and biostimulate the skin of the face, neckline and hands. The process is performed under local anesthesia for fat extraction and once we have the fat purified and emulsified, it is injected through small punctures in the areas to be treated. It has been seen that in this stromal portion of the fat there are stem cells at concentrations 400-500 times higher than bone marrow. This indicates the great capacity of tissue regeneration of the fat tissue.
