Breast augmentation or augmentation mammoplasty is breast surgery indicated to improve the size and shape of the breasts. It can be performed with the patient’s own fat or with prosthesis. In the second case, the prosthesis will be placed behind the mammary gland, behind the pectoral muscle or subfascially, depending on each patient.
During the interview, I will evaluate the most appropriate method for breast implant placement.
Breast reduction or reduction mammoplasty is the recommended breast surgery for women with large and/or sagging breasts. These women often experience back and neck pain, skin irritation in the submammary folds due to maceration of the folds, and shoulder pain because the bra straps become constricted. In addition to the physical benefit, we achieve high-level aesthetic results.
This deformity is characterized by cone-shaped breasts with large, protruding areolae and a protrusion of the submammary sulcus due to a lack of development of the lower pole of the breast.
With tuberous breast surgery we are able to give the breast the natural appearance it should have always had, but we also restore the patient’s self-confidence.
Mastopexy or breast lift is a surgical technique whose purpose is to reshape and lift the sagging breast. Various factors such as pregnancy, lactation, the weight of gravity and the passing of the years, cause the skin to lose elasticity and the breasts tend to fall (breast ptosis). When a loss or scarce breast volume is also added, a prosthesis can be placed.
