Coleman Lipofiling or Lipotransfer

Coleman lipotransfer or lipofilling is a surgical technique described in 1994 by plastic surgeon Sydney Coleman, New York.

Lipofilling is based on the three-dimensional modification of the anatomy, by filling with the patient’s own fat tissue, previously purified. Although it is widely used in facial surgery to fill cheekbones, nasolabial folds, etc., it is also used in body surgery to treat depressions in the body contour or to fill sunken or atrophied areas. Combined with liposuction, it allows to really sculpt the contours.

The difference that Dr. Sydney Coleman has brought with his lipofilling technique is the achievement of long-term results. This technique consists of, through minimal incisions, extracting the patient’s own fat tissue with specific cannulas, which allow the fat cells to be suctioned out with the least possible trauma. It is then centrifuged and processed to obtain a purified fat where the fatty tissue is separated from the serum and oil, isolating the adipocyte that will be infiltrated in the area to be filled. Since it is a proprietary implant, it is a treatment that has very few contraindications and great advantages.

The price depends on several factors.
