To restore the youthful appearance of this area, we proceed to fill the labia majora using hyaluronic acid or the patient’s own fat. In this way we get them back to be plump and thick, giving them back their youthful appearance.
In the case of using the patient’s own fat, we proceed to the extraction in the operating room of fat from the abdominal area of the patient. We proceed to its centrifugation according to the Coleman method and its subsequent infiltration in the area of the labia majora. This process lasts approximately one hour and is performed under local anesthesia and sedation.
In the case of hyaluronic acid infiltration, it is also done in the operating room under light sedation and the process lasts 15-20 minutes.
In both cases the patient can go home after 1-2 hours and can resume sexual activity in 10-12 days. The duration of treatment is about 12 months.
