Chemical Peels

What is it used for?

Chemical peels are used to improve fine wrinkles, skin damaged by excessive sun exposure or photoaging and sun spots. The peels we use can be superficial or medium and of different chemical compounds.

Superficial alpha-hydroxy acid peel: used to exfoliate the most superficial layer of the skin, thus achieving a smoother and more luminous skin.
Medium-depth peels: Exfoliation and renewal of the outer layer of the skin that flakes off is achieved, producing an attenuation of fine wrinkles, a reduction in skin blemishes, greater smoothness and luminosity due to a tightening effect and a homogenization of the skin tone.

Chemical peels are performed in the doctor’s office. Depending on your skin type and the problem to be treated, we will advise you one or another type of peeling. In all cases, a home kit will be recommended for optimal results.

During the peeling session, you will feel a slight stinging that subsides after a few minutes. The application of anesthetic ointment is not necessary. It is important that you do not expose yourself to the sun and use sunscreen for a few months.
