Filling labia majora

Natural aging or thinning can cause the labia majora to lose its youthful appearance and give it an empty or taken down look (hypotrophy of labia).

To recover the fresh look from this area, we do a procedure to fill in the space with hyaluronic acid or the patient’s own fat. This way we can give it its old full look, restoring its youthful appearance.

In the case of using the patient’s own body fat, we proceed by surgically removing fat in the abdominal area of the patient. Then, we proceed by centrifuging it according to the established Coleman method and subsequent infiltration in the labia majora. This process tends to last about an hour and is done under local anesthesia and sedation.

In the case of infiltration with hyaluronic acid, we do it in the operating room under light sedation and the process takes about 15-20 minutes.

In both cases the patient can go home within 1-2 hours, and resume sexual activity anywhere from 10-12 days. The duration of the treatment is 12 months.
