ISAPS Congress
Dr. Patricia Gutiérrez Ontalvilla, plastic surgeon of the Pediatric Plastic Surgery Unit of the Hospital Universitari i Politècnic La Fe, will participate in the 23rd edition of the Congress of the ISAPS (International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery), to be held in October in Kyoto, Japan. This congress, one of the most recognized in the world, is held every two years.
On this occasion, the ISAPS Congress will be attended by more than 300 speakers from all over the world, of which 8 are Spanish.
Dr. Gutiérrez will present the communication Fat Grafts in Plastic Paediatric Surgery which deals with Lipotransfer in Pediatric Plastic Surgery. It deals with different works performed in the Pediatric Plastic Surgery Unit such as reconstructive surgeries in childhood and adolescence, craniofacial syndromes, congenital malformations of the breast and Parry-Romberg syndrome, among others.
In the words of Dr. Gutiérrez: “it is an honor that ISAPS has chosen our communication as it represents international recognition of the highest level for the work we have been carrying out for years at La Fe Hospital”.
This is a work in continuous development that has already been presented in various international forums previously (such as Rome in 2015, and Sitges and Estoril in 2016).
