Reduction or labia minora labiaplasty

Labiaplasty is indicated in women, which because of congenital causes or otherwise, have some asymmetrical labia minora or have a very large distortion of the aesthetics of the perineal area.

To many, this hypertrophy prevents them from wearing tight clothes, bikinis, swimsuits in some cases it even prevents them from practicing sports such as spinning, cycling. Not to mention the insecurity it causes when having sex.

Labia reduction surgery or labiaplasty is performed in the operating room under local anesthesia, under sedation or spinal anesthesia, and takes about 30-45 minutes.

We use sutures that are dissolved naturally in 2-3 weeks. The patient is discharged after spending a few hours in the hospital. Postoperatively, the patient should follow hygiene guidelines established for the area to heal normally.

The reincorporation into working life is almost immediate and the only warning is to avoid sex in 3-4 weeks.
